The Department of Archaeology & Historic Preservation is located in the Capital Park Building just north of the state capitol campus. Our main office is located on the first floor of the building and has street frontage. However, access to the office is from the interior hallway through the main building entry doors and down hall to the right. The main entry is the first door on your right, Suite 106. The office is open Mon-Thurs -7am to 5:30pm. The office is closed on Fridays.
The Department of Archaeology & Historic Preservation, at this time, does not have any free customer parking spaces available. There is on street parking available (metered) and a fee parking garage behind our building. The top floor of the garage is visitor parking that costs about 50 cents an hour.
