About DAHP:
Office Locator
The Department of Archaeology &
Historic Preservation is located in the Capital Park Building just north
of the state capitol campus. Our main office is located on the first
floor of the building and has street frontage. However, access to
the office is from the interior hallway through the main building entry
doors and down hall to the right. The main entry is the first door
on your right, Suite 106. The office is open Mon-Thurs -7am to 5:30pm. The office is closed on Fridays.

Parking
The
Department of Archaeology & Historic Preservation, at this time, does not have any free customer
parking spaces available.
There
is on street parking available (metered) and a fee parking garage behind
our building. The top floor of the garage is visitor parking that
costs about 50 cents an hour.

Directions
to DAHP
From Interstate 5 (north or south):
- Take Exit 105A to State Capitol.
- Proceed through tunnel to Capitol Way (first light after tunnel).
- Turn right onto Capitol Way. Drive past Capitol Campus.
- Capital Park Building, home of DAHP is on the NW corner of Capitol
Way and 11th Street (first light).
- DAHP Office entrance is on street level mid-block on S. Capitol
Way, between 11th Avenue and Union Avenue - proceed straight through
to Suite 106.
