Archaeology: We are pleased to announce the celebration of October as Washington State Archaeology Month. The 2009 poster celebrates the listing of Snoqualmie Falls on to the National Register of Historic Places as a Traditional Cultural Property (TCP). The falls is one of a handful of listed TCP's in Washington State. During this special time, we are promoting a variety of archaeological related events across the state, which focus on the general importance of protecting Washington's rich archaeological heritage.
