Attend Workshop on Disaster Recovery Planning for Cultural Resources on 9/7
The Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation (DAHP) is partnering with the Washington State Historical Society (WSHS) and the Emergency Management Division (EMD) of the State Military Department to host a workshop on developing a statewide action plan for assisting heritage organizations to prepare for and recover in the event of a disaster. This is a timely workshop that will provide for audience interaction to learn and think about the cultural resources under your stewardship and how to prepare and respond to a disaster. The workshop will be on Thursday September 7 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Washington State History Museum in downtown Tacoma. Registration is $15.00 which includes a parking pass.
