Call for Papers 65th Pacific Northwest History Conference, “Citizenships in the Pacific Northwest”

The Washington State Historical Society, permanent sponsor of the Pacific Northwest History Conference, invites proposals for sessions, panels, posters and workshops on the theme of “Citizenships in the Pacific Northwest.”  As part of the 125th Anniversary of Washington Statehood in 2014, we also invite proposals on topics related to that theme. The Pacific Northwest History Conference is a forum for exchange among historians, scholars from other disciplines, museum professionals, educators, archivists, historic preservationists, oral historians, graduate students, history enthusiasts, and community activists. Proposals from all quarters are strongly encouraged. The conference is an opportunity to share your work and passion with a community of people with similar interests. We encourage presentations in alternative formats including digital presentations. Proposals are encouraged for all eras and topics related to Northwest Citizenship and Washington 125 History. Deadline for submissions is October 28, 2013. For more information see their website here. 65th Pacific Northwest History Conference, “Citizenships in the Pacific Northwest”  is April 3-5, 2014  in Vancouver, Washington.
