Looking for a good family-friendly activity while enjoying and learning about our heritage? The Smithsonian Institute is sponsoring a national Museum Day on Saturday September 24th. As part of the celebration hundreds of museums across the nation, including over 30 in Washington state, are offering two free admission tickets per request. Participating museums in Washington are all over the state including the Polson Museum in Hoquiam, Fort Walla Walla, Yakima Valley Museum, Bainbridge Island Historical Museum, Foss Waterway Maritime Museum in Tacoma and many others that will meet all interests and locations.
