CITY OF LONGVIEW SEEKS PROPOSALS FOR SURVEY WORK

Request for Proposals (RFP) Historic Preservation Consulting Services Old West Side Historic Inventory Project Phase 8a City of Longview, Washington

The City of Longview is inviting statements of qualifications and performance information from firms or individuals interested in providing historic preservation consulting services and products. The project involves completing a minimum of 44 new intensive-level residential historic/architectural inventories of homes constructed between 1923 and 1960 in the Old West Side Neighborhood.  The Old West Side is the first platted neighborhood in the City of Longview, a planned city.  The inventory area includes select properties along 20^th Avenue, 19^th Avenue and 18^th Avenue in the target neighborhood. The consultant maximum reimbursement is $7,200 [either a flat payment, or based on a maximum of $82.49 per documented work hour], payable upon completion of phases of the Scope of Work. First Draft products are due to the state Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation May 16, 2013, second Draft products and a progress report are due July 18, 2013, with the final Scope of Work products due August 29, 2013. Digital submittals are acceptable. This project is funded by federal grant funds through the National Park Service; Department of Interior, and administered by the Washington State Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development, Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation.
