Allyson Brooks announced that the Washington State Historic Preservation Office’s searchable WISAARD website/data base and statewide archeological predictive model is a finalist for a national award from the American Council for Technology (ACT) - Industry Advisory Council (IAC), a non-profit, public-private partnership dedicated to improving government through the application of information technology. ACT-IAC provides an objective, ethical and trusted forum where government and industry exchange information and collaborate on technology issues in the public sector. They will announce the winner on May 24, 2010, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. - The programs advance open government
