GRANT CO PUD SEEKS FULL-TIME ARCHAEOLOGIST

Public Utility District No. 2 of Grant County (aka Grant County PUD) is now accepting applications for a permanent, full-time Archeologist, stationed at the Hydro Engineering Division headquarters near Vantage, Washington; applications must be received in hard copy at the Ephrata office by July 2, 2010.  The incumbent will join the cultural resources staff to implement immediate and long-term historic properties research and site management relative to requirements of a new FERC operating license.  There are strong opportunities for developing professional research interests in the Middle Columbia River Valley and Columbia Basin.  The successful applicant will have, at a minimum, one full-years experience beyond receiving a graduate degree, as well as at least three years experience covering the range of field and laboratory tasks typical of contemporary CRM, including experience in the Columbia Plateau, and proven ability to work productively with minimal supervision.
