Heritage Capital 2021-23 Grant Applications Sought/Workshops Announced

The Washington State Historical Society (WSHS) has announced launch of the 2021-23 cycle for the Heritage Capital Projects (HCP) grant program. This significant grant program provides matching grants to public and private non-profit organizations to assist eligible historic rehabilitation and heritage preservation projects. 

In addition, the WSHS has scheduled a series of workshops tailored to prospective applicants including workshops scheduled from March 11 in Mattawa to March 19 in Mt. Vernon with other dates and locations across the state.

The grant application process is two-staged with a deadline of April 23rd to determine project eligibility and June 25th to submit final application. Selected projects must be completed by July 1, 2023.
