May is National Historic Preservation Month and Historic Seattle is hosting a very special event to acknowledge and celebrate the continuing use and good stewardship of our local cultural and architectural landmarks. Historic Seattle Second Annual Preservation Awards Ceremony

In 2009, Historic Seattle celebrated its 35^th Anniversary year, by introducing an awards ceremony that acknowledged community excellence in preserving and protecting built heritage. We continue that tradition with an awards event during Historic Preservation month in the elegant surroundings of the Women’s University Club, a 1921 clubhouse designed by A.H. Albertson and Édouard Frère Champney and designated a Seattle City Landmark in 2008. Enjoy appetizers in the beautiful main lounge and the recently refurbished ballroom with old and new friends and colleagues who share a passion for preservation and applaud our award winners in the beautiful ballroom.
