Judy Conway Wright A Puyallup Tribal Elder, 73, of Tacoma, passed away Friday, February 1, 2013. Judy was born to the late Frank Conway and Alice Cross Buber, July 11, 1939, in Tacoma, Washington. Judy was instrumental in revitalizing the traditional way of life for the Native community and the Puyallup Tribe. She was an inspiration to all. Judy is survived by her husband George, of Chiloquin, OR.; her four children: Orlando and his wife Melisa, of Los Angeles, David, of Tacoma, Joe and his wife Lynnette, of Tacoma, and Anlot and her fiancé Greg, of Tacoma; her seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A Wake will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at the Puyallup Tribes Youth Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at the Puyallup Tribes Youth Center. Immediately following the funeral, burial will take place at Willard Cemetery in Puyallup Washington. Following burial services, a dinner will be held at the Puyallup Tribes Youth Center.
