MASON COUNTY HPC CELEBRATES FIFTH YEAR

May 22, Mason County Historic Preservation Commission will host an event for history buffs and the curious to celebrate the first five years of its existence. The event, to be held at the Shelton Civic Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., will feature three workshops to assist community members in determining elgibility of their homes, barns, or sites for the county register. We'll also announce the 51 structures our recently completed survey of the Highway 101 corridor in the county has determined are elgible. 
Awards will be given to some who have honored the county's history with their work. A light luncheon will be served. RSVP appreciated. Respond to ldedanaan2@hotmail.com.
