McMILLIN BRIDGE INTERPRETIVE SIGN DEDICATION THIS TUESDAY

The Pierce County Historic Preservation Commission is hosting a dedication ceremony for installation of an interpretive sign on Tuesday, May 15 at 6:00 pm. This one-of-a-kind bridge near Sumner in Pierce County was nearly lost for replacement with a State Route 162 bridge, which was built nearby. To RSVP to attend the event, go to: http://piercecountywa.org/mcmillinbridge.  The dedication will take place near the historic bridge on the Foothills Trail McMillin Trailhead off SR 162 East.
