NPS ANNOUNCES PRESERVATION PLANNING WEBSITE

Sue Renaud, Historic Preservation Planner with the Heritage Preservation Services at the National Park Service (NPS) announces that their Local Preservation Planning website has recently gone live and can be viewed here. The website features many links to preservation planning guidelines, tips, and tools. It also has links to all state historic preservation plans including DAHP’s current preservation plan “Sustaining Communities through Historic Preservation” as well as local preservation planning documents from across the nation including Washington. Washington’s local preservation plans linked to the site include those from Bothell, Seattle, Olympia, and Vancouver, among others.
