Outreach Notice The Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest will soon be advertising our Forest Archeologist, GS-0193-12. The position is permanent, full time and will be located at the Supervisor’s Office in Wenatchee, Washington. About the Position:  This position serves as the Archeologist and Cultural Resource Manager for the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. The incumbent will be responsible for administering and providing cultural resource management support to the Forest as well as the inventory, evaluation, protection and development of historic sites. Works closely with district archeologists by providing the cultural resource requirements in preparing environmental and planning documents. Consults with Staff and District managers as necessary on the integration of cultural resources management into the forest program of work in order to achieve forest, regional and national goals and objectives.
