Phase I of the Mukilteo Lighthouse Park Grand Opening

Another historic preservation celebration takes place this Saturday, July 24 at the Lighthouse Park in Mukilteo. This celebration culminates years of planning, fund-raising, and coordination to complete Phase I of this ambitious historic preservation and recreation project. The City of Mukilteo and the Mukilteo Historical Society has worked closely with interested tribes, archaeologists, artists, and local residents to design a facility that protects cultural resources and the Light Station and enhanced the recreation facilities at this heavily visited site.

The celebration is from 10:00 a.m. to noon and will feature refreshments, souvenirs, and the opportunity to visit and appreciate this beautiful and signficant site. Location is at 609 Front Street in Mukilteo just west of the Clinton-Mukilteo Ferry Terminal.
