SEEKING ARCHAEOLOGY MONTH EVENTS FOR POSTING

The 2018 Washington Archaeology Month is coming up in October. As in past years, the Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation (DAHP) makes it a practice to seek out and post on our blog and FaceBook page during October events that focus on Washington's archaeological resources and the importance of protecting them for future generations. Archaeology Month events can include tours, lectures, exhibits, symposiums, workshops and other formats that engages the public with archaeology.

If you are planning such an event during October, DAHP wants to hear from you so we can post it on our blog and FB. To do so, download and fill-out the attached Archaeology Month Event Form document. Once completed with all the information, return the form to DAHP's Administrative Assistant Beverly Ubias at: Beverly.Ubias@dahp.wa.gov or as otherwise indicated on the form. We request the form be submitted by September 17, 2018. Questions? Contact Beverly (Beva) at her email or 360-586-3077 or Greg Griffith at 360-586-3073 or greg.griffith@dahp.wa.gov.

We look forward to hearing from you and to Washington Archaeology Month 2018.
