The Fox’s Lady: Holistic Weatherization Meets Historic Preservation

SPECIAL EVENT! With the help of Portland’s Clean Energy Works program, homeowners Roy and Kim Fox are undertaking weatherization that will reduce their energy consumption by 30% while keeping intact the character of their 1884 Queen Anne home. Come learn how during tours beginning each hour. Tour a fantastic 1884 home, learn more about the Clean Energy Works program, and how you can weatherize an older home without impacting its vintage character. When: Saturday, May 22, 2010 (9 a.m. – 4 p.m.) Where: 5915 NE Rodney Ave., Portland Admission is free but a small donation is suggested (All proceeds support the education programs of the Architectural Heritage Center) No pre-registration required. Guided tours will be given on the hour throughout the day. Due to space constraints, each tour is limited to a maximum of 40 people and is first-come first served.
