University of Oregon's Don Peting to Receive George McMath HP Award

http://hp.uoregon.edu/sites/hp.uoregon.edu/files/images/fieldstudies/pnw/don_peting_0.jpgThe University of Oregon School of Architecture has announced that Professor Emeritus and long-time preservation practitioner will receive the 2014 George McMath Historic Preservation Award. The award will be presented at lunch event on May 14 at the University’s Portland Center in the White Stag Block downtown. Don is known to many in Washington for his inexhaustible energy in support of the PNW Preservation Field School and his passion for historic preservation.  He is also a past recipient of the SHPO’s Award for Outstanding Achievement in Historic Preservation in the Education Category.
