VICTORIAN FESTIVAL IN PORT TOWNSEND, MARCH 23-25
Mar 12, 2012
The 2012 Victorian Heritage Festival celebrates Port Townsend's unique role as an exquisitely preserved historical seaport surviving and thriving as a modern city. The goal of the weekend event, March 23-25 2012, is to educate residents and visitors alike about the past and how it has informed our present. More importantly, it offers an opportunity to enjoy the extraordinary and wonderful city where we live and play. In its 16th year, the Victorian Heritage Festival offers a variety of presentations and events ranging from fashion shows and tea to boxing and steamships. This year's festival will include a beer hall with seating for prize fights and vintage firearms lectures. Join us for a celebration of the old that is new again - bringing together scholars, enthusiasts and curiosity-seekers from across the Pacific Northwest.
