WASHINGTON PLANNERS SEEK SESSIONS FOR ANNUAL CONFERENCE

The Washington Chapter of the American Planning Association invites you to submit session proposal(s) for the 2012 State Planning Conference, to be held October 11-12, 2012 at the Red Lion Hotel in Olympia. This year's theme is Breaking Gridlock: Creating New Alliances.  "Gridlock" probably implies traffic on first thought, but the term also symbolizes political and economic gridlock and it could be applied to a variety of societal issues (increasing income disparity, climate change, etc.).  "Alliances" have always been important to good community planning.  They are increasingly vital with the current economic conditions and often polarizing political climate. Click here for further submittal information, form and CM criteria. Questions - Please email any questions regarding proposals to Stephanie Kennedy, conference event manager, at totaleventconnection@frontier.com.
