Washington State History Museum's 15th Annual Model Train Festival

 
 
  The Washington State History Museum's 15th Annual Model Train Festival will run December 26 through January 1, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festival will extend closing to 7 pm on New Years Eve. Every floor of the History Museum will showcase fun and interactive model train displays during this festival. This event celebrates the golden age of railroads with eight model train displays and fun for all ages. Event admission included in the price of History Museum admission. The History Museum has expanded its operating hours to be open every day of the week, and one additional hour per day, to accommodate the popularity of this seasonal festival. This year's Festival features layouts from: The largest permanent model train layout in the state by the Puget Sound Model Railroad Engineers Admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors, $6 for students and military with valid ID, children age 5 and below are free, and members are free.
