Welcome Back Jamie! and Happy Retirement Rick!

The Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation (DAHP) is pleased to announce important transitions occuring with our staff.

First, it is a great pleasure to welcome Jamie Dudman as our new Records Manager and Public Records Request (PRR) Officer. If her name sounds familiar to you that is because Jamie worked with DAHP in an administrative capacity back in 2015 to 2016. She left DAHP to work with the State's Children Administration agency as a Forms & Records Analyst which made her well qualified to step into the role as DAHP's Records Manager and point of contact for public records requests. Jamie is super nice, super organized, and loves to provide great customer service.

Jamie can be reached directly at 360-586-3070 or email her at: jamie.dudmandahp@dahp.wa.gov.

Welcome back Jamie, its great having you working with us again!

Jamie is steping into her position replacing DAHP's long-time Records Manager and PRR Officer Rick Anderson. Rick is retiring from State service as of today (1/31/2019) after working with DAHP since 1999. He has made a great contribution to the agency in organizing and managing our records and transforming those records into electronic format for accessing through our WISAARD web-portal. Rick also was very thorough, timely, and conscientious in responding to an average of 200 records requests received by DAHP each year.  Now in retirement, Rick is looking forward to continuing his passion of international/adventure traveling with Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands next on the horizon.

Thank you Rick for your 20 years of public service at DAHP and best wishes to you in retirement.
