Alice Paul and Lucy Burns began a more radical branch of women fighting for the right to vote. They found themselves up against powerful men, an atmosphere of chauvinism, an unconcerned President (Woodrow Wilson) and even their own more conservative counterparts.  These women risked their lives and loves to fight for what they believe in. Post screening discussion with Senator Karen Fraser, Supreme Court Justice Gerry Alexander and Women’s History Consortium Coordinator Shanna Stevenson.
