WOOD WINDOW WORKSHOP COMING UP IN OLYMPIA

Back by popular demand, Dave King’s wood window workshop will again be held at the Guild’s EcoHouse on February 18 with optional afternoon workparty. Sponsored by the City of Olympia Heritage Commission. Built to last, wood windows and doors need regular upkeep and sometimes restoration work to maintain their value.  If you want to stay warm and save on energy costs, don’t replace them!  You can tune up and weatherize your old windows and recoup your investment through energy savings.  Do it yourself and save even more.   Come learn from the best the How and Why of Wood Windows & Doors - Restoration and Weatherization at this Hands-On Workshop. Saturday, February 18, 2012, 10 am – 1 pm, w/ optional hands-on workparty 1:30 – 4 pm. Includes healthy lunch. Workshop fee: $25 per person, $40 / household ($10 off if you also attend the workparty!)
