WTHP RELEASES RFP FOR PREPARING MANAGEMENT PLAN

The Washington Trust for Historic Preservation (WTHP) has released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for consulting services to prepare a management plan for the Maritime Washington National Heritage Area (MW-NHA). The MW-NHA was created by Congress in 2019 and embraces the state's marine shoreline from the Canadian border to Grays Harbor.

The successful consultant will assist the WTHP in identifying major tasks and milestones to occur in the development of a Management Plan; creating an implementable work plan for developing the Management Plan; crafting a public engagement strategy and plan; assigning roles and responsibilities to involved parties; and helping to identify future consultant/contractual needs. The project will begin on July 1 and end September 30, 2020 and total budget available for preparing the plan will be from $40,000 to $50,000. Proposals must be submitted electronically to the WTHP by June 22, 2020.
