Free Teacher Workshop in Seattle: March 26, 2014 (1:30 – 6:00) at the Klondike Gold Rush Museum and Milepost 31 Seattle historians invite local educators to learn about new online resources for teachers and students while exploring two of Seattle’s unique downtown museums: the Klondike Gold Rush Museum and Milepost 31. Presentations by representatives of HistoryLink.org, the Eastside Heritage Center, Seattle Times Newspapers in Education, the Pike Place Market, the Klondike Gold Rush Museum, and the National Archives. Teachers will receive packets of materials and free admission to the museums. Refreshments provided. Some walking required. RSVP for workshop by Friday March 21st at education@historylink.org.
