Arts & Crafts Film Night Reminder: Pursuing Beauty

Please join Historic Seattle, Thursday, February 21 at 7 pm for the third (and last) film in their series at Washington Hall, 153 14th Avenue.  Pursuing Beauty: The Architecture of Bernard Maybeck tells the story of a 19th century romantic who used 20thcentury materials to create buildings that speak across time.  Over twenty of his important works are featured, including the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, First Church of Christ Scientist in Berkeley, and Hearst Hall at the University of California.You can register by calling Historic Seattle at (206) 622-6952 or online at www.historicseattle.org.   Tickets are $10 for members, $15 for general public, and $5 for students.   General admission pricing is available at the door the evening of the event.
