“Hans Berthusen’s Barn” Presentation on Valentines Day at Whatcom Museum

Celebrate Valentine’s Day and learn about Lynden’s 1887 Bethusen Barn at a presentation hosted by the Whatcom County Historical Society at the Whatcom Museum in Bellingham. The presentation will be given by Larry McPhail, past president of the Puget Sound Antique Tractor & Machinery Association. His lecture will delve into the barn’s history and the recent restoration project. Now a part of Berthusen Park located just west of Lynden, the Barn is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and now open to the public thanks to the rescue efforts of the Antique Tractor and Machinery Association. The lecture is free and begins at 7:30 pm in the Museum’s Rotunda Room located at 121 Prospect Street in downtown Bellingham.
