GRAND OPENING of CAMP YEOMALT CABIN

The Bainbridge Is. Metro Park & Recreation District invites you to celebrate the beautifully restored National Historic Registered log hall! (See attachment). Join us in thanking Team Yeomalt and all of the amazing volunteers, donors, supporters, neighbors and preservation team.
We'll have a trooping of the colors by local Scouts, a few brief speeches, a ribbon cutting ceremony - everybody bring a pair of scissors! There will be refreshments, children's activities, live music and time to enjoy the beauty of this historic cabin and park. DATE & TIME: Saturday, Aug. 28 starting at 4 PM. LOCATION: Camp Yeomalt Park, 900 Park Ave.
(SW corner of Park. Ave. & Yeomalt Point Dr.)
BRING: Scissors for the ribbon cutting.
PARKING is limited. A free shuttle will run from 3:30 to 5:30 PM from Ace Hardware parking lot (High School Rd. east of Highway 305). Some parking may be available on the west shoulder of Grand Ave. (becomes Park Ave.)
DIRECTIONS:
FROM SOUTH BAINBRIDGE IS. & FERRY: Go east on Winslow Way, north on Ferncliff Dr., east on Wing Point Way and north on Park Ave. to 900 Park Ave.; 1.3 miles from terminal.
FROM NORTH BAINBRIDGE IS.: Go. south on Hwy. 305 to High School Rd. (McDonald's on left). Turn left. Go east to Ace Hardware and shuttle service or continue east to Ferncliff Ave., north to Byron Dr., east (right) on Byron Dr, and south (right) on Grand Ave. (becomes Park Ave.) to 900 Park Ave.; 1 mile from Hwy.

FERRIES: Depart Seattle for Island at 11:25 AM, 12:20, 1:10, 2:05 and 3 PM. Shuttle service for foot passengers may be available by reservation. Call 206-842-2306, ext. 22. (Or Kitsap Transit Bus #90 @ $2 can drop off passengers at High School Rd. for free shuttle to park from Ace Hardware.)
