Want to Learn More About Character Interpretation?

Workshop--June 20, 2013 at the WSHM Tacoma The Washington State Historical Society presents a workshop on developing and using character interpretation--find out how to choose, develop, train and use first person interpreters at your museum or historic site and other ways to add personal stories to enhance visitor experience.  Teachers can also learn how to help History Day students develop performance projects. Presenters are Gwen Perkins, Education Specialist at WSHS, Mike McGuire, Education Curator at Fort Nisqually Living History Museum and Nancy Calos-Nokano, artist, writer and actress. The workshop is 9 am to 12 noon Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the WSHM, 1911 Pacific Avenue, Tacoma.  Cost is $20.00 including materials.
