Wisaard & DAHP News

Hello Everyone! There is a lot to talk about today. First, you may have noticed that we have deployed new features for Wisaard. This includes the print function and the new archaeology site form and TCP template. I have a brief printing tutorial up and will have an Archy site form tutorial up shortly. Check the website in the coming days. Also, we have dates set for FIVE training sessions. That's right, DAHP is taking the show on the road (there might be a disco ball involved). The purpose of the sessions is to update consultants and federal agencies on DAHP regulatory processes including survey and inventory reporting guidelines and the new WISAARD Database system.  This fall catch us for one of the following sessions:
  • Richland: Wednesday, October 26th, Richland Public Library, Conference Room A&B, at 955 Northgate Drive, from 1pm to 4pm.
  • Spokane: Thursday, October 27th, at Eastern Regional Headquarters of WSDOT at 2714 N Mayfair St, Spokane, WA 99207; training will take place from 8am to 11am.
  • Seattle: Tuesday November 1st, at the City of Seattle Board of Commissions Room, 600 4th Avenue, Level-L, from 9am to noon.
  • Vancouver: Tuesday, November 8th, at the Vancouver Community Library, Columbia Room, at 901 “C” Street, Vancouver, from 9:30am to 12:30pm.
  • Olympia: Tuesday, November 15th, Columbia Room of the Legislative Building in Olympia from 9am to noon.
There are at least 30 slots available for each venue listed below.  The slots are allocated on a first come, first served basis.  Please register to ensure that you have a slot. All consultants and federal agencies that use the WISAARD Database can benefit from the training as we will be demonstrating in real time how to maneuver through the system. Learn more about our report and survey guidelines, and receive updates on our next phase of WISAARD development. Since seating is limited, registration is required.  There is no cost for registration.  To register please contact Beva Ubias at Beverly.ubias@dahp.wa.gov or call 360-586-3077.
