A quick reminder that proposals are due to be submitted to DAHP no later than 5:00 pm this coming Friday, July 14th.  The project is Phase II of DAHP's effort to document and better understand the historic experience of the Hispanic community in Washington State. This is to notify you that Wisaard will be unavailable on Thursday June 29. We understand that this is short notice, but it is unavoidable and we ask for your understanding. Wisaard will be unavailable so that we can install the new E-APE feature. It should be back up and running on Friday June 30. However, please note that in the event of a state government shut-down, Wisaard will again be unavailable. If a state budget is not reached by 5:00 pm on June 30, Wisaard will be shut down.
The Washington State DAHP is requesting proposals for the inventory, documentation, evaluation and nomination of historic places in the Puget Sound region associated with Latino heritage. Proposals due July 14, 2017. Follow this link: /ethnic-preservation to DAHP's webpage with more information about the project and a link to the RFP document. DAHP's Assistant State Anthropologist Juliette Vogel was injured in a serious vehicle accident in SeaTac early Sunday morning as she was returning home after a week's vacation with family. As of this writing, Juliette is currently in recovery at Harborview Hospital but expected to be released in the next day or two and return to her home in Olympia and under the care of family members. SHPO Allyson Brooks and State Anthropologist Guy Tasa are keeping in close contact with her and family members... more

Hi Everyone, Sometimes we send out notices to Wisaard users that Wisaard will be down for maintenance, upgrades etc... But you may or may not receive the message. Why is that? DAHP uses the email address that you provided to SAW when you signed up for an account for notification of maintenance and updates.
