Proposals are due to the National Park Service by 11/30/2010 to co-sponsor one of 15 to 18 Cultural Resources Diversity Internship Program (CRDIP) interns. The 10 week summer internship program is designed to encourage minority and underrepresented students to explore careers in historic preservation/cultural resource management by working for successful applicants. October 29, 2010 is the deadline for non-profits and educational organizations to apply for up to $5,000 in funding for projects that advance the City's sustainability strategies. The two-part study – entitled “Section 106 of the National Preservation Act: Back to Basics”, written by Leslie Barras was released today.
