The Washington Trust for Historic Preservation is seeking nominations to its 2013 Most Endangered Historic Properties List.  Nomination forms may be obtained through the Trust’s website. The 2013 legislative session begins in about six weeks, and we are now accepting proposals for presentations during the regular meetings of the Heritage Caucus. As a reminder, presentations need to be 10 minutes or less, and must fit into one of the following prioritized categories:

The first phase of rulemaking for SEPA is in the public comment phase.  Yesterday, the Dept. of Ecology held a public hearing in Olympia.  In addition, DOE will be accepting written comments until December 11th. As part of its ongoing efforts to preserve and foster awareness, Historic Fort Steilacoom hosts a holiday candlelight tour this Saturday evening from 4:00 to 7:30 pm at this significant historic site in Lakewood. The National Center for Preservation Technology and Training (NCPTT) is calling for Preservation Technology and Training Grant applications (PTT Grants).
