The Metropolitan Park District of Tacoma celebrates the re-opening of the historic Pagoda at Point Defiance Park this Saturday, January 12 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Built in 1914 as a station for the city’s street car line, the building suffered significant damage from an arson fire in 2011.
