The Pierce County Landmarks and Historic Preservation Commission is pleased to announce the 2012-13 Preservation Grant Program, which assists in funding preservation efforts in the Pierce County. The program is funded by HDOC money, derived from the $1 recording fee, as appropriated by the Pierce County Council. The April programming for Historic Fort Steilacoom in Lakewood is a Military Swap Meet and Display on the 14th from 10 am to 4 pm.
